چکیده

The presence of stenosis at the wall artery lead to further cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack, stroke and many more. Treatment a stenosed includes insertion catheter through which affects blood flow solute dispersion. This present study focuses on effect radius height dispersion behavior. problem is modelled using Herschel-Bulkley fluid represent rheology, with boundary conditions. Analytical solutions in integral form are obtained by solving momentum equation constitutive equation. integrals numerically evaluated Simpson’s 3/8 rule Regula-Falsi method obtain velocity. velocity employed into unsteady convective-diffusion solved generalized model (GDM) analyse behaviour diffusion. influence diffusion coefficient mean concentration observed. Results show that decreases increases. A decrease simultaneously increases concentration.

Particulate Suspension Blood Flow through a Stenosed Catheterized Artery

The flow of blood through a narrow catheterized artery with an overlapping stenosis has been investigated. To account for the presence of red cells, blood has been represented by a macroscopic two-phase model (i.e., a suspension of erythrocytes in plasma). The expression for the flow characteristics-the flow rate, the impedance (resistance to flow), the wall shear stress in the stenotic region,...

Physiological Non-newtonian Blood Flow through Single Stenosed Artery

A numerical simulation to investigate the Non-Newtonian modeling effects on physiological flows in a three dimensional idealized artery with a single stenosis of 85% severity is given. The wall vessel is considered to be rigid. Oscillatory physiological and parabolic velocity profile has been imposed for inlet boundary condition. Determination of the physiological waveform is performed using a ...

Effect of six non-Newtonian viscosity models on hemodynamic parameters of pulsatile blood flow in stenosed artery

A numerical study of hemodynamic parameters of pulsatile blood flow is presented in a stenotic artery with A numerical study of hemodynamic parameters of pulsatile blood flow is presented in a stenotic artery with non-Newtonian models using ADINA. Blood flow was considered laminar, and the arterial wall was considered rigid. Studied stenosis severities were 30, 50, and 70% of the cross-section...

Mathematical Analysis on Pulsatile Flow through a Catheterized Stenosed Artery

In this paper, the pulsatile flow of blood through an inclined catheterized stenosed artery is analyzed. Perturbation method is used to solve the implicit system of partial differential equations with suitable boundary conditions. Various analytical expressions axial velocity, flow rate, wall shear stress and effective viscosity have been derived with the help of MATLAB for understanding the fl...

MHD Flow of Blood through Radially Non-symmetric Stenosed Artery: a Hershcel-Bulkley Model (RESEARCH NOTE)

The purpose of this study is to develop a mathematical model for studying the magnetic field effect on blood flow through an axially non-symmetric but radially symmetric atherosclerotic artery. Herschel-Bulkley equation has been taken to represent the non-Newtonian character of blood. The response of magnetic field, stenosis height, shape parameter on velocity, volumetric flow rate in stenotic ...
